AI Sightable docs

Install, scan, read your scores, track AI crawlers and connect Pro.

Getting started

Install the plugin from the download page and activate it. Open any post: the AI readiness score appears in the editor sidebar. For a site-wide view, go to AI Sightable → Dashboard and click Scan all content.

The readiness score

Each page is scored 0–100 across 8 modules: extractability, query fit, structured data, content authority, technical accessibility, content coverage, entity clarity and conversion clarity. Pages fall into three bands:

  • Ready to cite: AI systems can easily lift and attribute your answer.
  • Partly ready: useful content, but something makes it harder to quote.
  • Hard to cite: a blocker (such as noindex or a robots.txt block) or major gaps.

Scoring runs as plain PHP on your server. It re-runs when you save a post and live (without saving history) as you edit.

Full-site scan

Scans run in the background in batches. Filter by post type, status, author, category or modified date, and pause, resume or cancel at any time. Failed pages can be retried one by one. Scans never use credits.

AI crawlers

AI Sightable → AI Crawlers lists visits from 16 AI bots. Each hit is checked with reverse DNS in a background task, so spoofed user agents are flagged. IP addresses are stored hashed by default. On the same screen you can allow or block each bot in robots.txt.

Using a page cache? Full-page caches such as WP Rocket or LiteSpeed Cache can serve pages before WordPress runs, so some bot visits go unrecorded. The plugin detects this and tells you which setting to change.

llms.txt & structured data

An index of your content is served at /llms.txt and rebuilt when content changes. Structured data (Article, Organization, Person, BreadcrumbList, FAQPage) is merged into Yoast, Rank Math or AIOSEO output when one of them is active.

Fixes & undo

Every fix follows the same flow: preview → apply → verify → undo. The page is re-scored straight after a fix, and every change is listed in Fix history. If a page was edited after a fix, undo is replaced by a link to compare revisions, so newer work is never overwritten.

Connecting Pro

  1. Create an account at app.sightable.io. New accounts get 20 free credits.
  2. In your account, create a licence key for your site.
  3. In WordPress, open AI Sightable → Settings → Pro, paste the key and click Connect and verify.

Once connected you see the last four characters of the key and your credit balance. The key is stored on your server and never sent to the browser.

Credits

Each AI action on one page costs 1 credit: deep diagnosis, FAQ section, answer-first opening, or title & meta. Fully optimizing a page takes 4 credits.

  • 100 credits = fully optimize about 25 pages, or new SEO titles & meta for 100 posts, or diagnose 50 pages and add an FAQ to each.
  • Re-running an action on unchanged content is free, and failed runs are refunded.
  • Credits are shared across all your sites and never expire.

Privacy & data

Free features make no external requests. When you click a Pro action, only that page's title, headings, plain-text body, existing meta description and schema types are sent to the AI Sightable API. Nothing is sent automatically or for other pages.

Troubleshooting

“Site mismatch”: each key is bound to one site address. Disconnect it before changing your site URL, or create a new key.
“Not enough credits”: buy a pack on the pricing page; nothing is charged for the failed attempt.
Pro service unreachable: all free features keep working. Try again in a few minutes.
